A band of Liars.

Below, one of Portugal's letter urging me to sign the bank waiver. His reasoning for signing the bank waiver is exposed as a lie by the following bank certification of ownership he sent me indicating an "AND OR" joint ownership of the accounts in the name of Mamang and Nonoy.

You will recall that when the estate settlement process first started, Portugal in a letter to Niniboy, declared that the Mamang's PNB accounts can't be included in the settlement document because the bank accounts are solely in Nonoy's name.

So, in both cases, Nonoy has full, if not total control over the PNB accounts! It is clear that Nonoy has been stealing from Mamang long before she died. Nonoy is clearly a thief!

Why did all the other heirs signed the waiver as Portugal claims? I don't know and I don't really care. What I know is where I stand on this issue. The reality of it though is that Portugal is just following orders. Nevertheless, it does not absolve him of wrongdoing because he knows what is right from wrong. Whatever it is he is in it with the real culprits, those who pull Portugal's strings.

I can only expect more of the same regarding estate settlement issues from Portugal. Poor Portugal, his reputation and credibility suffers so.

Mr. Gamboa, re the bank waiver, all the siblings/co-heirs have signed
off on that suggestion of mine to waive the funds (estimated at
P33,000++) in Manuel's name so as to facilitate the withdrawal of the
funds there and closing the account. Said funds would be used to
answer any other immediate expenses for the estate, being cash in
nature, since the sale of the vehicle will take time. Moreover, if
the bank account is not waived in Manuel's name, it will then have to
be in the name of all 9 heirs, only 2 of whom are in Manila. So
withdrawing and closing the account will be such a cumbersome process with all of the US-based parties going to the Phil consulate. If all were agreeable to the waiver, then it promotes convenience and expedience for all. I am hopeful you will think about this matter
again. Thank you.
